Tana Forrester

Tana Forrester exclusively represents employees in a wide range of employment law matters. Her employment practice focuses on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and unpaid wages.

In addition to representing individuals, Ms. Forrester also represents employees in multi-plaintiff litigation, including class and collective actions. She engages in counseling, negotiation, and litigation on an individual and class basis, and is committed to finding the best strategy to achieve her client’s goals.

Ms. Forrester has successfully resolved cases for employees who face workplace discrimination and retaliation.  She is well versed in all areas of discrimination law including: pregnancy discrimination, gender discrimination, sexual orientation discrimination, sexual harassment, race discrimination, disability discrimination, failure to accommodate and retaliation.

Ms. Forrester’s wage and hour practice includes representing employees who have been unlawfully misclassified as exempt from overtime laws and those forced to work off-the-clock.  She has represented workers who have been denied their lawful wages by their employers, including employees who have been denied overtime pay, misclassified as independent contractors (unlawfully paid on a 1099, to avoid overtime pay), had their tips stolen or who have been denied minimum wage.
