Allied Aviation – New Jersey – Unpaid Overtime Wages
Kessler Matura P.C. is co-counseling a collective action lawsuit against Allied Aviation Services, Inc. for alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and New Jersey Wage and Hour Law.
The Complaint alleges that Allied Aviation, which provides fueling services for the commercial aviation industry at domestic and global airports, failed to properly compensate its fueling supervisors and dispatchers for overtime work. The fueling supervisors and dispatchers allege that they had to work extra hours before and after their regular shifts without getting paid for that time, including meeting with and receiving instructions from management, preparing reports, settling job tickets, handling communications, picking up and returning company vehicles, traveling between facilities and airport terminals, and completing work during weather-related delays. Additionally, employees were required to work through lunch without compensation and stay after scheduled shifts without pay to complete job tickets during weather delays.
The case seeks to recover back pay and other damages on behalf of all fueling supervisors and dispatchers who worked for Allied Aviation in New Jersey within the past six years.
The case is pending in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
