Kindercare – Late-Wages Case and Settlement

Kessler Matura P.C. filed a class action lawsuit against KinderCare Education LLC (“Kindercare”) on behalf of all teachers employed in the State of New York by Kindercare at any time between February 5, 2019, and August 4, 2023 (the “Class”).  The Complaint alleges that KinderCare failed to pay their teachers weekly, within seven days after the end of their workweek, as required by the New York Labor Law.

The parties settled the case on behalf of the Class in February 2026.  In March 2026, we submitted the settlement for approval to the Supreme Court of New York, County of Nassau.
